Looking from without, the functions of energy and matter appear mechanistic. Energy is expelled at an alarming rate, and any operative impetus appears to become exhausted. The greater the expenditure, then the more alarming the rate of consumption. Synthesis retains an assumed designation of probability, rendering the surprising, folding fluidity of matter relationships improbable. Such is the shortcoming of the complivexation.
Now imagine pouring concrete for a foundation. And the structure is in the mountains. And say the truck can’t get very close to the dug footings. And that the driveway down to the site is steep. Real steep. And the only way to get the concrete placed is to use a wheelbarrow. Imagine that this is a big house, requiring yards and yards of concrete. And let’s make it hot – summer. Noon. And after a coupla hours, you begin to tire. And let’s just say that you don’t tire easily. And maybe you stumble. And you think, “I can’t do this.” And there you are: experiencing the entire situation from without.
